Project Overview
Uniquely sited amongst forests and meadows that make up the majority of the school campus, The Little School provides early learning and K-12 education that is focused on cultivating students’ authentic learning in nature and community, expanding curiosity, and fostering a sense of joy, place, belonging, and self. Fora worked with The Little School Campus Planning Committee to ensure that we kept their vision in mind for the Rivers Building Addition, which also included the provision of a new campus commons amphitheater gathering space, informal outdoor learning spaces, a new herb garden, field and playground improvements, cistern irrigation, and new circulation pathways and parking that preserved views to mature stands of trees.
