Franz Anderson

Project Overview

The  Franz Anderson Rd SE Permanent Supportive Housing project in Olympia, WA is a five-story apartment building with 71 low-income units, amenities, and outdoor gathering spaces located at the street level, as well as walk-up units and on-grade parking. Adjacent to an existing wetland, the project benefits from the forested buffer with abundant mature trees, and is proposed to provide connections to an existing trail. The project also provides a large community gardening hub for residents, inspired by the large demand discovered from the nearby Unity Commons project and existing orchard with apple and pear trees still present and adjacent to the site.
